Anthony Eller Named February's PCHS Senior of the Month.

Senior Anthony Eller was recently named as the PCHS Senior of the Month for February. Anthony said, “I’m really happy I got it, I feel like I come to school with a positive attitude every day so I’m glad to see that others recognize it.” Anthony is very supportive of all of his fellow classmates, Anthony says, “It makes me happy to make others happy.”

Anthony is loved by all of his current and former teachers. “He’s just so genuine,” said Anthony’s yearbook teacher Jonathan Harding, “He’s just so straightforward and real with you, it’s a great quality to have.” Mr. Harding continued, “If I had to pick a most improved yearbook student, it would definitely be him. From last year to this year, he turned into more of a leader and took initiative to be the best he could be. I’m really proud of what he’s been able to do and accomplish.”

Another teacher of Anthony’s is Lindsey Barszcz, she said that Anthony is “just a wonderful student to have and teach.” Mrs. Barszcz said, “Anthony comes to class every day with a positive attitude. He asks every one of his teachers and classmates how they are doing and he works really hard. He’s so encouraging of others and pushes everyone to be the best they can be.”

Anthony is very involved at PCHS, he has been a member of theatre for several years and has taken many building tech classes with Christian Miller, which he said are his favorite. Anthony, perhaps, has his biggest effect in the classroom. “He’s definitely a leader,” said Barszcz, “He lights up the classroom when he walks in.”

Anthony has many friends and family members that have helped him to where he is today. “I’d like to thank the whole Eller and Horton families for supporting me, as well as my grandma Joyce Eller,” Anthony said. He would also like to thank his friends that he’s known since elementary school James Farver and Alex Haynes for “always being supportive” of him.

In his free time, Anthony enjoys watching movies and taking pictures of interesting things that he finds. He enjoys mowing his lawn during the summer and shoveling snow during the winter. Anthony hopes to one day work for a landscaping company and do what he loves. Anthony also loves buses and plans to get his CDL to become a bus driver.

Anthony is looking forward to graduating in the spring and starting the next chapter of his life.
